Information about our Extended Day Program

Mornings 6:45-7:45 AM
Afternoons 2:30-5:15PM

Mornings
A teacher is on supervision at time of arrival. Students are allowed to eat a simple breakfast from home. Quiet time is provided so children can study or quietly read. At 7:45 a teacher will escort children outside for morning recess.
Afternoon
There are always two teachers on supervision during afternoon extended care.

The schedule is as follows:

2:30-2:50 Snack Break
2:50-3:35 Outside Recess
3:45-4:30 Homework
4:30-5:15 Inside Recess/Quiet time

Cost is $3.00 per hour or any part of an hour.

Parents who are consistently late will be expected to pay overtime for teachers’ on duty.

Parents need to report to the main office to sign out students. Students will be notified and meet parents in the office.

Parents may use this program on a regular basis or whenever necessary. Please fill out the form provided, if you will be using the Extended Day Program on a regular schedule. If you will not be using the program all the time, just make sure to call or send a note, when your child needs to attend Day Care.

Student store will be available at Snack time. The money earned from our student stores have been used for our students. During the last two years, their money was used for purchasing our TV//DVD’s for all our classrooms. Money was also used to keep the cost of Field Trips at a reasonable rate.
