Saint Michael Parish School is a strong and growing Parish
School which  celebrated "75 Years" during the 2005-2006 Academic School Year. The Theme for our celebration Year was a "Faith Filled Journey"- we celebrated our past, present and future.

Saint Michael School has been serving generations of the Portuguese American community and generations of Catholic families with a comprehensive education steeped in the traditions and values of our faith. 

During the 2006-07 academic year, Saint Michael School was accredited by the "New England Association of Schools and Colleges".  We offer our students a comprehensive academic program including Art, Music, Computer, Library and Physical Education.  We also have an Academic counselor providing additional programs for our students. 
                                                           
A variety of new Sports and Extracurricular Activities have been added to our Programs.

In addition to the above, Saint Michael School has a Before and After School Day Care Program and a Hot Lunch Program through the State.

Under the continuous leadership of the Holy Union Sisters, the faculty and staff of Saint Michael School are dedicated to providing a learning atmosphere in which all students feel secure as they are challenged to reach their potential:  spiritually, academically, socially and physically. 

Building on this strong community foundation and working cooperatively with parents, we strive to instill the following in our students:

• A dedication to learning that will enable them to be life-long achievers.
